Wichita – Lorella June Nichols, 74, passed away on Monday, April, 26, 2021.

Lorella was born on Friday, December 13, 1946 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Harry and Thelma (Smith) Rankin.   She loved antiques, horses, painting and lunch dates with her twin daughters.  Lorella raised horses throughout her life and participated in rodeos when she was younger.  She was a very creative person and loved to oil paint, horses being her most loved subject.  There wasn't an animal in need that she wouldn't rescue.  She loved living in the country.

Lorella is survived by her daughters Jana Parker of Benton, KS and Jamie Boggs of Fenwick, WV; her grandchildren Janae Parker and Jace Parker; a shaggy dog named Barney; a sweet chihuahua named Bella and a 50 lb. cat with a vicious streak named Kitty.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Thelma Rankin and her sister Joyce Buck.

There will be no Memorial Service.
