Lois Ann (Libal) Spencer, 86, of Wichita passed June 11, 2010.

Lois was born in Osborne County, near Luray, KS, on November 7, 1923 to Charles and Faye (Hendrixson) Libal. Lois graduated from Luray High School in 1941 and married Ross Spencer, September 15, 1946 in Luray. She was a homemaker and member of Meridian Avenue Baptist Church. Ross and Lois lived in Pennsylvania, Merriam and Wichita, Kansas during their 63 plus years together.

Lois was preceded in death by parents, sister Joyce Rezabek, and son Joseph Alan Spencer.

She leaves to mourn her passing husband Ross, Wichita; son Raymond (Debra) Spencer, Cresson, Texas; daughter Marilyn (Merrill) Rice, Platte City, Missouri; brothers Dana and Lloyd Libal, both of Luray; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Meridian Avenue Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Garden of Prayer in Overland Park, Kansas.

A memorial has been established with Meridian Avenue Baptist Church, 200 North Meridian, Wichita, Kansas 67203 or in care of the funeral home.
