Augusta - Lloyd Duwayne "Buddy" Scovell, 82, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

Buddy was born, March 13, 1934, to Lloyd Francis and Geneva Lavell (Morlan) Scovell in Comanche County, Kansas. He had graduated from Protection High School. Buddy married Vivian "Gail" King on April 2, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. Buddy had worked at Coleman for over 45 years. He loved spending time with his family.

Buddy is survived by his wife Vivian of Augusta; son Roger and wife Kerri Scovell of Haysville, Kansas; daughter Cathy and husband Rex Reed of Papillion, Nebraska; sister Doris Sawyer of Mead, Kansas; grandchildren Shawna Scovell, Christopher Reed and Christie Reed; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
