Lisa Lynn Reed, 56, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Lisa was born on Wednesday, July 16, 1969 in San Bernardino, California to Ronald (Sr.) and Beverly (Houseworth) Linker.

Lisa was united in marriage to John B. Reed on February 29, 1992. They were married for 33 years and 10 months. Lisa and John were introduced on July 18, 1989 through her mom (who John worked with at that time) on her 21st birthday celebration. They were together from that day until Lisa's passing.

Lisa worked as a Medical Records Clerk for several medical offices for more than 10 years in Wichita, Kansas and as an ER Registration Clerk at North Richland Hills Hospital for more than 12 years in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Lisa enjoyed spending her time reading, and planting flowers each spring. She loved her collection of Pillsbury Doughboy statues and memorabilia, that her husband/family always enjoyed finding and giving as presents. Previously, she enjoyed collecting elephants statues and characters. In later years, she developed an enjoyment for Christmas gnomes and nutcrackers. She especially loved Christmas and Halloween with many decorations inside the house and out. Lisa also loved her little dog, Maddie May, even though at times, Maddie enjoyed pretending to not hear Lisa say "stay away from the street."

Lisa is survived by her mother, Beverly Linker; husband of 33 years and 10 months, John; her 2 sons, Corey Jamison Hoffman-Reed and spouse Sunshine in Wichita; Cody Jacob Reed and spouse Tatum also in Wichita; her younger brother, Ronald "Buster" Linker Jr.; nephew, Cooper; and niece, Maddie along with many in-law siblings, nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed not only by her husband, children and family, but by several close friends that were practically family.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father.

Her husband always would tell her "I loved you then, now and forever, babe."

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
