Douglass – Leonard Gene Carr, 72, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

Leonard was born on Friday, April 29, 1949 in Knoxville, Iowa to Lloyd Elwood and Elizabeth Mae (Sanders) Carr.  Leonard had previously worked as a Freight Truck Driver.  Leonard married Sheryl "Dee" Wade on May 15, 1976 in Maize, Kansas.  He loved race cars, hunting, fishing and online auctions.

Leonard is survived by his wife Dee; children Christina Whipple of Lincoln, MO, Leonard Gene (Robin) Carr II of Douglass, Lennette (Wyatt) Rowland of Augusta, Lonnie (Audra) Carr of Douglass; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Lloyd Carr Jr, Roger Carr, Jim Carr, David Carr, Georgia Pelkey, Carla Summers, Linda Moran and Cathy Carr; Aunts Eunice Wallace and Marie Hartz.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Janet Carr and his brother Bill Carr.
