Moreland, Leona, "Cathern", 97, homemaker, passed away, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Lakepoint of Augusta.
Viewing with be from 11:00-12:00 noon on Friday, April 13, at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery using the 12th Street entrance.
Cathern was born July 13, 1914, to Oce and Doshia (Elliott) Whitwell in Grain Valley, Missouri. She married Raymond Moreland on July 21, 1934, in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1990.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
