Leo Dean Cantrell, 90, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Leo was born on Sunday, September 2, 1934 in Duncan, Missouri to Neal and Lois (Welsh) Cantrell.

Leo was united in marriage to Allene Shepard on February 19, 1955. They were married for over 69 years until Leo's passing.

Leo worked as a truck driver for Allens Concrete for 47 years.

Leo enjoyed spending time working on cars, was an avid fan of Nascar and loved spending time with his family.

Leo is survived by his wife, Allene Cantrell of Augusta; son, Larry Cantrell of Wichita, KS daughter, Patty (Brad) True of Whitewater, KS; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lois Smith; and brother, Jimmy Cantrell.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28th at Riverwalk Church of Christ. Memorial Service to follow starting at 11 a.m.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Riverwalk Church of Christ or Good Sheppard Hospice, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
