Mifflin, Lawrence "Bud" William, 75, passed away, Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at his home in Mullinville, Kansas.
Bud was born April 13, 1938, to William Daniel and Helen Hattie (Case) Mifflin in Augusta, Kansas. He married Frances Mackey on December 22, 2000, in Pratt, Kansas.
His survivors include his wife Frances of Hilltop Nursing Home in Bucklin, Kansas; sons, William Mifflin of Mullinville and Bill Mifflin of Atlantic, Iowa; daughters, Laurenda (John) Loughry of Griswold, Iowa and Helen (Alan) Sumpter of Downs, Kansas; sisters, Nancy Speer and Mary Weston both of Augusta; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anna Bass Turner.
No visitation. Graveside service will be held Monday, November 11, at 2:00 p.m. and viewing will be held from 1:30-2:00 prior to the service both at Fairview Cemetery, Augusta.
