Larry Dale Holmes, 74, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Larry was born on Sunday, March 18, 1951 in Abilene, Kansas to William and LuElla (Tong) Holmes

Larry was united in marriage to Debbie Chrislip on August 25, 1972. They were married for 52 years until Debbie's passing in April of this year.

Larry worked at the El Dorado Refinery and for Boeing for many years.

Larry enjoyed Church including singing and being a deacon at church. Some of Larry's many hobbies include using HAM Radios and storm chasing with his late Wife Debbie.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Lorena (Jeff) McReynolds; grandchildren, Matthew (Skylar) Vance and Kayla Canedy; sister, Florence (Ronnie) Hoover; brothers, Ernest Holmes, Donald Holmes and Larry James Tong; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, William and LuElla; wife, Debbie Holmes; brother, Michael Holmes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church of Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to First Southern Baptist Church, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
