Houchin, Kevin Gene, 36, diesel mechanic, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 in El Dorado, Kansas.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 10, at 1:00 p.m. in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
Kevin was born October 23, 1975, in Wichita to Dale and Zandra Houchin. He graduated from Bluestem High School in 1994, and worked as a diesel mechanic for several area shops.
His survivors include his mother Zandra (Huckabee) Houchin of Augusta; sisters Michelle (Kyle) Dixon of Independence, Kansas, Crystal (Robert) Montano of Augusta and Allison Houchin of El Paso, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father Dale Lee Houchin and his grandparents.
A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 608 West Douglas, Suite 100, Wichita, Kansas 67226, or in care of the funeral home.
