Kevin Lynn Davis, 54, of Towanda passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26 , 2011.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Contributions can be left with the funeral home.

Kevin was born on December 2, 1956, the son of Harvey and Zella Lee Small Davis in El Dorado, Kansas. Kevin went to school in Towanda before serving his country in the United States Army. He worked in the Oil Fields for 20 years before working for Hawker-Beechcraft as a sheet metal mechanic for the past 11 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, yardwork and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Davis of Towanda, sons, Ashley and Dustin Davis of Towanda and Kyle Davis of El Dorado, Kansas, granddaughters, Lakin Hamilton and Kloey Davis, sisters, Cindy Davis of Houston, Texas, and Kim Sellers of Climax, Kansas and brother Craig Davis of Marion, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
