Brooks, Kenneth Dwane, 71, passed away, Saturday, February 2, 2013.

Kenny was born July 26, 1941, to Leonard Francis and Ina "Vee" Veetta (Brumley) Brooks in Norwich, Kansas.

For many years Kenny was an over-the-road truck driver and prior to retirement became a night maintenance supervisor for Wal-Mart in Augusta. Kenny loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and watching sports.

He is survived by his son, Troy Brooks of El Dorado, Kansas; daughters, Tracie (Karl) Mathias of Stafford, Virginia, Tammy (Brian) Davis and Tiffany (Randy) Johnson all of Augusta; sisters, Betty Gustin of Aquila, Arizona and Sharon Brewer of Garden City, Kansas and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Brooks; brothers, James and Audie Brooks and a sister, Yvonne Kilgore.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene.
