Kenneth "Kenny" Gregg Brinkley, 71 passed away on Sunday September 10th 2023, surrounded by loved ones at Kansas Medical Center, Andover.

Kenny was born on Wednesday August 6th 1952 in Romulus Michigan to Junior and Stella (Wallace) Brinkley. Kenny was united in marriage to Laura "Micki" Kirkpatrick in Joplin Missouri on February 5th 1970, when they were only 15 and 17 years old. Kenny retired from J.I. case in 2003 where he worked as a welder for over 30 years. Kenny enjoyed a good cup of coffee, watching tv with his dogs on his lap, going to the casino with Micki, but most of all he loved a house full of family. Kenny's family was everything to him.

Kenny is survived by his wife Micki; children, Tanya (Alesia) Brinkley-Taylor, Alicia Allen, and David (Kristi) Brinkley; sister, Judy Shedd; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four nieces.

Kenny is proceeded in death by his parents; his sister, Eraina Wade; nephew, Jamie Wade; father and mother in-law Harold & Marjorie Kirkpatrick; sister in-laws, Patty Kirkpatrick and Connie Wolf.

Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
