Augusta – Kathy Darlene McCoy, 50, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Kathy was born on Saturday, November 14, 1970 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Jerry and Patricia (Griffin) Milburn.  She attended school at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle.  As a CNA she spent many years caring for the elderly and for those who suffered from disabilities.  Kathy enjoyed many leisure activities but the dearest to her heart were her sports cars and amusement park rides.  Her 1981 Corvette was her pride and joy.  There was not a roller coaster that she did not like.  She met the love of her life, George McCoy, on July 8, 1989 and they were married on September 7, 1991.

Kathy is survived by her husband George; her grandchildren, numerous extended family members, friends and her furbaby Sadie.

Kathy is preceded in death by her mom and dad, Jerry and Patricia, grandparents and sister-in-law Sonya Sells.

Kathy's passing has left a void in the hearts of everyone that was fortunate enough to know her.  She will be remembered for her wit, sense of humor and compassion that she shared.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be determined later.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the American Kidney Fund or National Kidney Foundation, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
