Dowell, Kathryn Margaret (Tabor) 92, homemaker, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012, at Emeritus Assisted Living in Augusta.

Kathryn was born January 21, 1920, to Charles Marion and Elizabeth (Mueller) Tabor in Tarkio, Missouri. She married Robert Barry Dowell on September 2, 1939, in El Dorado, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 12, at 1:00 p.m. both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel.

Survivors include her sons Lloyd "Whitey" Dowell of Augusta, Floyd (Kathryn) Dowell of Leon, Donald (Twyla) Dowell of Leon; daughters Kathy (Marvin) Latimer of Augusta and Judith Sharp of Derby, Kansas; brother Ray (Ann) Tabor of Clearwater, Florida; 20 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Ronald; daughter-in-law Sondra Dowell; son-in-law Stanley Sharp; two sisters and four brothers; grandson Robert Burling; great-granddaughter Cassie.

Memorials have been established in lieu of flowers to Amedisys Hospice or Victory Worship Center both in care of the funeral home.
