Joyce Pearl (Stephens) Manahan – 89, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Joyce was born on Wednesday, October 25, 1933 in Hooker, Oklahoma to Marshall and Grace (Roth) Stephens.

Joyce was united in marriage to Rameth Manahan on May 8th, 1954. They were married for 68 years before Joyce's passing. They have four children – Marshall, Doyle, Cathy Jo and Carol.

Joyce worked as a nurse helping bring many children into the world. After retiring from nursing, she went to work for Sam's Club as their membership person.

Joyce enjoyed watching the Texas Longhorns especially when playing the Oklahoma Sooners, she loved spending her time crafting, crocheting blankets, taking care of her grandchildren and her fur babies. She knew no strangers. Her smile was contagious.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Rameth, son Marshall and wife Tina of Augusta, son Doyle and wife Sharon of Haysville and her daughter Carol and her husband Randy of Benton. Plus, 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters; Jewel Thacker and Darlene Harding. She is also survived by her fur baby Moby. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Gene and Eldon and her daughter Cathy Jo.

Joyce was a gently spirit, with a touch of orneriness and was loved by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Augusta United Methodist Church.
