Wynn, Joshua Lee, 41 of Leon, Kansas, passed away, Friday, February 15, 2013.
Joshua was born April 24, 1971, to Terry and Rhonda (Steepleton) Wynn in Hastings, Nebraska. He attended schools in Hastings and married Brenda Marie Koci on February 13, 2004, in Wichita, Kansas. Joshua worked for Holly Frontier as a machinist in El Dorado, Kansas. He enjoyed being with his family, working on cars, hunting and fishing.
His survivors include his wife, Brenda Wynn of the home in Leon, Kansas; daughter, Josha (Nick) Billups of Valley Center, Kansas and Jaden Wynn of Leon; sons, Brendan and Braden Wynn of Leon; mother, Rhonda Wynn of Hastings, Nebraska; father and step-mother, Terry and (Carol) Wynn of Kimberling City, Missouri; brother, Bradly (Betsy) Wynn and a sister, Morgan Wynn; grandfather, Harold Steepleton; grandmother, Delores Wynn all of Hastings, Nebraska; granddaughter, Briley Billups of Valley Center; step-brother; Sam Brown and step-sister; Candice Deitz both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; numerous foster sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Wynn; grandmother, Dorothy Steepleton and an uncle, Donald Wynn.
A memorial service will be held at Haverhill Christian Church, 10275 SW Haverhill Road in Augusta, Kansas on Thursday, February 21, at 5:00 p.m. An additional memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23, at 11:00 a.m. at North Shore Assembly of God, 100 West 33rd Street, Hastings, Nebraska. A private family burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens also in Hastings at a later time.
A memorial has been established with The Wynn Children's College Fund at Southwest National Bank, 2150 North Woodrow, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
