Augusta – Joseph Carl "Joe" Grudle, 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

Joe was born on Friday, June 17, 1932 in Elm Creek, Nebraska, to Joseph and Matilda (Buettner) Grudle.  Joe was united in marriage to Mary C. Fletcher on November 22, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska.  He had worked as a heating and air specialist.  Joe was a beautiful person who loved to talk and spend time with his family.  He enjoyed gardening, automobiles and building things, that was his passion.

Joe is survived by his children, William Joseph (Mary) Grudle of Oakland, Iowa, Deb Lee (Dave) Blatny of Carson, Iowa, Kenneth Joseph (Ken) Grudle of Allen, Nebraska, Robert Joseph (Emma) Grudle of New Braunfels, Texas, Linda Rae (Larry) Weisel of San Antonio, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, siblings Evelyn, Francis, Lucille, Elenor, Harold and James.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 23 ^rd at 10 a.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 25 ^th at 10 a.m. at Hill Country Memorial Garden in New Braunfels, Texas.
