John D. Randolph, 60, passed away in Madison, North Carolina on Saturday, September 20, 2014.

John was born November 19, 1953, to Leon and Jean (Goodpasture) Randolph in Enid, Oklahoma. He graduated from Baylor University in 1984 with a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics. Later, in 1986 he graduated with a second Doctorate in Theology from Fuller University. John held a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma where he also studied Early Christian Religion and Meteorology. He was an ordained reverend and minister who enjoyed sharing the love of God and teaching about Jesus to anyone unaware. He pastored several churches during his life – including several native American Churches in Oklahoma. He was also a professor at Texas Christian university in Dallas. John loved Jesus and sharing the word of God- his favorite lifetime song was "Amazing Grace."
John was united in marriage to his wife Katusha whom he loved dearly on February 14 1973 in Benton, Kansas. He served his country in the Air National Guard, worked on many top secret projects for the military, and test flew F-16's. Presently John was working for Honda Jet Aircraft Company helping to design the new Honda jet but also held positions at General Dynamics, Cessna, Raytheon, and Boeing during his lifetime. John had many hobbies but his ultimate favorite things to do were fishing and gardening; He was also a professional storm chaser for over 20 years and filmed hundreds of tornados across the Midwest. John loved OU Football and held interests in Politics.

Surviving to honor his memory are, his wife of 41 years, Katusha Randolph of Madison, NC; son Ralph Randolph of Cheyenne, WY; daughter Katrina Blasi of Madison, NC; grandson Joseph Cheek of Madison, NC; parents Leon and Jean Randolph of Augusta, KS; siblings Mike and wife Dana Randolph of Towanda, KS, Carolyn and husband Brian Wright of Shawnee, KS, Randy and wife Velvet Randolph of Raymore, MO; nieces and nephews Levi Randolph, Grace Randolph, Gil Randolph, Luke Randolph, Dustin Randolph, Stacey Randolph, Christy Dreiling, Crystal Dippre, Carolyn Hollaway.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 25th, from 1-7 p.m. With family being present from 5 -7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday the 26th at the First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta, Kansas. Burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery using the 12th street entrance.
