Andover – John Wayne Gilliand, 74, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

John was born on Tuesday, April 9, 1946 in El Dorado, Kansas to John Rudolph and Rowena (Meyer) Gilliand.  John had worked as an Accountant for the IRS for over 30 years.  John married Colleen Collins on September 2, 1972 in Emporia, KS.  He loved to spend time in his garden, mowing and watching/feeding birds with his grandson.

John is survived by his wife Colleen; sons Jason Gilliand of Andover and Preston (Jefri Cook) Gilliand of Park City; grandson Blake and granddaughter Adisin; siblings Harry (Chris) Gilliand of Augusta, Karen Murphy of Florida and Janet Gilliand of Augusta.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Service will be on Thursday, January 28 ^th at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta using the Ohio Street entrance.
