Cary III, John W., 84 of Towanda, Kansas passed away November 15, 2010 at Lakepoint Nursing Home in Augusta. John was born January 4, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio to John W. and Lillian (Dickman) Cary, Jr.
John was in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Delores Cary on May 5, 1979 in Hesston, Kansas. She survives to mourn his passing.
There will be a private memorial service for John at a later date.
A memorial has been established with the Towanda Area Historical Musuem, 401 Main Street, Towanda, Kansas 67144.
