Jimmie Don Maish Jr., 75, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Jimmie was born on Tuesday, October 5, 1948 in Girard, Kansas to Jimmie Don Sr. and Betty Jo (Gladson) Maish.

Jimmie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He joined in 1970 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Jimmie worked as a teacher in Wichita and at Augusta Middle school. Jimmie also owned his own businesses, one being an RV Repair company and the other a insulation company. Jimmie enjoyed spending his time coaching football, watching sports, fishing, and traveling.

Jimmie is survived by his significant other, Pennie Bunkers; children, Amy (Drake Carlyle) Maish and Don (James Harlow) Maish; grandchildren, Archie and Wyatt Carlyle; sister, Donna Kichler; Niece, Kara Hutsch; nephew, Kevin Kichler.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Winfield Veteran's Cemetery.
