Thomas, Jerry Lee 67, retired self employed floor covering and washer/dryer repairman, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at his home.

Jerry was born February 23, 1945, to James and Ruby (Mash) Thomas in Ada Valley, Arkansas. He married Carolyn "Sue" Stanford on June 23, 1969, in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Survivors include his wife Sue of the home; daughters Cindy McCarrier of Corpus Christi, Texas and Melissa (Jeramy) Behrens of Andover, Kansas; mother Ruby Kennedy of Augusta; brothers John (Patti) Thomas and Charlie Kennedy all of Augusta; sisters Daphine (Danny) Robbins of Augusta, Montine (Mel) Heinrich of Braman, Oklahoma, Wanda Hattaway of Augusta, Joyce (Bob) Whitson of Augusta, Lynette (Richard) Du Bois of Wichita, Brenda (Brad) Willour of Harrisonville, Missouri; grandchildren Chad, Brett and Breeanna Courtney and Ashton Thomas.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father James Thomas.

Viewing will be held Friday, July 20, 2012, from 1-6 p.m. and visitation with family greeting friends following from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. all at Dunsford Funeral Home and interment to follow in Green Valley Cemetery in Furley, Kansas.
