Jones, Jeffrey Neal, 53, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at his home in Augusta, Kansas.

Jeff was born February 8, 1961, to Keith "Skeet" and Kay (Riddle) Jones in Arkansas City, Kansas. Jeff graduated from Augusta High School in 1979. He worked in highway construction and also at Beechcraft. He enjoyed auto racing and any kind of sports.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Kay Jones of Augusta; brother, Jerry Jones of Wichita; sister and her husband, Julie and David Spyres of Augusta; four nieces, Jennifer Jones Knowles and Lacy Jones both of El Dorado, Heather and Rebecca Spyres both of Augusta.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith "Skeet" Jones and his brother, Brett Jones.

A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, June 19, at 1:00 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery using the 12th Street entrance.

A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association or to the Jeffrey Jones Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
