Janet Kay (Ferrell) Slay, 59, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Janet was born on Monday, January 11, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas to Max and Dyca (Justice) Ferrell.  Janet had worked as a Clerk in the US Postal Service and had retired after 34 years.  She loved animals and has had several rescue/adopted pets throughout the years.  Janet loved her family very much.

Janet is survived by her husband Kevin; step-sons Kyle and Arin Slay; mother Dyca Ferrell of Wichita; sisters Ginger (Warren) Charles of Greenwood, Arkansas, Cindy (Richard) Geitz of Milliken, Colorado; mother-in-law Doris (Slay) Simas of Derby.

Janet is preceded in death by her father Max Ferrell; first husband Dale Mishler; and her two brothers David and Stuart Ferrell.

Family will hold a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at Church of Christ, 201 First St in Douglass. Come and go as you please.  Casual Dress.
