James Matthew "Ryan" Provorse, 34, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Ryan was born on Thursday, March 21, 1991, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Janet Provorse.

Ryan worked in construction and on his grandfather's farm mowing fields, chopping wood, and repairing equipment. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering with small machines and electronics—taking them apart, figuring out what was wrong, and fixing them.

Ryan was preceded in death by his twin brother, John Michael Scott Provorse; grandmother, Mary Provorse; cousin, Shawnee Redman; and great-grandparents, Virginia "GG" and Hiram Provorse, and Leta and William "Bill" Morris.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Provorse, and stepfather, Bryon Kuhn; brother, Logan Provorse; sister, Jessica (Eli) Chiles; grandfather, John Provorse; aunts, Vicki (Joe) Redman, Susan (Pat) Mileham, and Pam (Tim) Schelske; and several cousins.
