Augusta - James Michael "Mike" Scott, 75, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Mike was born on December 6, 1945, in Augusta, Kansas to Gene and Eva (Miles) Scott.  Mike attended Augusta High School and married Shirley Kirkpatrick in 1971.  They had just celebrated 50 years of marriage.  He worked at the Small Business Administration as a file clerk for many years.  Mike enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

Mike is survived by his wife Shirley of Augusta; son Jimmy (Tisha) Scott; grandson Brian Scott; and his sister Becky Scott.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bobby Scott.

A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, October 21, from 5-7 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions to be made out to Dunsford Funeral Home in Mikes name, for funeral expenses; left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
