Towanda - James "Albert" Haney Age 79, passed away at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater on November 24, 2014.
Albert was born October 6, 1935, in Egypt, Arkansas to James and Edna (Haynes) Haney. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Lift Parts Manufacturing. He married Mary Mankins on April 23, 1955 in Yuma, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Haney of Towanda, Kansas; son, Joseph and wife Ruth Haney of Aumsville, Oregon; daughters, Shirley Fowler of McLoud, Oklahoma, Linda and husband Brad Sawyer of Towanda, Kansas, Peggy and husband Ravon Clause of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; aunt Roxie Galbreath of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; 10 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents and Grandsons Brian Haney and Ravon Clouse.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory and services will take place at a later date.
