Morris, James Edward, 58, self-employed remodeler, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010.

James was born February 16, 1951 to George E. and Ellen F. (West) Morris in Wichita. Jim was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran He married Mary Vivian McAllister on December 31, 1991, in the Leon Christian Church.

James is survived by his wife Mary of the home; mother Ellen Morris of Augusta; daughters Jamie (Dave) Cope of Greenback, Tennessee and Jennifer (Bob) Baugher of Augusta; brothers Mike and Dave Morris of Wichita; sisters JoEllen Martin and Teresa Morris both of Wichita and Pat (Larry) Bishop of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; six grandchildren, Noah, Grace, Lindsay, Wesley, Ashly and Geoffrey.

Preceded in death by his father.

Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas, Disabled American Veterans or the Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
