James Ray Diel, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

James was born on Sunday, March 17, 1946 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Robert and Doris (Gaddy) Diel.  James later married Teresa Wright on January 18, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas.  James was a retired Auto Body & Paint Technician. He loved drag racing and listening to music.

James is survived by his daughters Jona (Steve) Shaver of Rose Hill and Regina (Wes) Shaver of Augusta; son James (Angie) Diel of Benton; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of James's Life will be held for family and close friends on Sunday, April 7 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at 15767 SW Mulberry in Rose Hill.
