Beach, James "Jim",Corbett Jr., 86, retired Chance Industries customer service representative, and owner of HRK Warehouse in Marion, passed away, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at his home.

Jim was born in Checotah, Oklahoma to Corbett James Beach Sr. and Cora May (Duke) Beach on November 30, 1923. He served in the US Army during WWII and married Bernice McCombs on December 15, 1960 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his spouse Bernice of the home; sons Corbett James (Sally) Beach, III of Wasilla, Alaska, Jim (Lona) Ball, Oakley, Kansas; daughters Peggy Gomez (Rosie Guevara), Sherry (Ronnie) Pressler, Charlotte (Randy) Dorr all of Tulsa, Connie (Tim) Donnelley of Leon, Jan (Steve) Lanier of Augusta; brother Donald (Margie) Beach of Bristow, Oklahoma; sister Lil Steffonaff of Tulsa; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by grandson Tony Gomez; granddaughter Misty Childs; sister Margie Beach; brother Paul Beach.

Visitation with family greeting friends will be Friday, April 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service Saturday, April 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Haverhill Christian Church. Interment to follow in Leon Cemetery.
