James "Bud" Clayton Noeller, 83, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Bud was born on Friday, March 31, 1939 on the Brant Lease in Butler County, Kansas to George "Shorty" F. and Lela P. (Stephenson) Noller. Bud was the youngest of 18 children. His brothers all served in the Army and he had 3 sisters.
Bud was united in marriage to Ellen Marie McClain on December 27, 1959 in Fairland, Indiana. They have been married for 62 years.
Bud proudly severed in the United States Army and then with the Kansas National Guard where he retired after 22 years. He worked for Kansas Gas for 28 years. He also worked at Dillion's, K-mart, Walmart, and ministered as a pastor in Florence, Sedgwick, and Oxford. He was also an interim pastor for Ellinwood, Hill City, and El Dorado.
Bud is survived by his Wife Ellen; Daughter, Aretha (Kenneth) Place; Son-in-law, Harold Roth; 9 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren; and 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Bud is preceded in death by his Parents; Daughters, Elaina Monique and Michele Roth; and Grandsons, Darrin and Christopher.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 13 th from 5-7 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 14 th starting at 10 a.m. at Prairie Hills Southern Baptist church of Augusta. With a graveside service to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Webster's Conference Center, or Make a Wish Foundation, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
