Obituary

Rose Hill – James Milton Alexander, 79, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

James was born on Sunday, July 13, 1941 in Oberlin, Kansas to Loran Avery and Lois (Roberts) Alexander.  James had worked as a Construction Foreman for Outdoor Systems – Billboard Construction.  James married Delores Ankenman on May 30, 1992.  He loved to work in the yard, go shooting, smoking meat, grill and he was the family jokester.

James is survived by his wife Delores; sons Kenneth (Kim) Alexander of Douglass, Mark (Annie) Davis of Rose Hill and Troy (Stephanie) Davis of Wichita; daughters Connie Walls of Wichita, Beth Little of Wichita and Jill (Darren) Davis of Haven; adopted kids, Kenna and JR Jorden, of Las Vegas NV; brother Dean Alexander of Englewood, CO; sister Sue Nitcher of Towanda; grandson Hunter Alexander, 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Eugene Alexander, Joseph Alexander and Mike Alexander, his sisters Marjorie Ankenman and Patty McIntire.

Memorial Service will be on Friday, June 25th at 11:00 am at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the National Sporting Clay Association or the NRA, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
