Jacqueline Joan Rogers 90, passed away on April 26th, 2024.

Jacqueline was born September 22, 1933 in Wetumka, Oklahoma, to Andrew Markley and Mamie Victoria (Stout) Westerman.

Jacqueline was united in marriage to Hurshul Rogers on May 27, 1952 until his passing on February 14, 1993.

Jacqueline was a fantastic cook, she enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening, and loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

Jacqueline was survived by her children, Alan Jeffery and wife Dana Rogers of Augusta, Gilda Faye Hayes of Andover, Michael Wayne Rogers of Augusta, Arthur Lee and wife Vicki Rogers of Towanda, Genia Henson of Augusta, Annabel and husband Justin Abrahams of Whitewater, Richard Isaac and wife Theresa Rogers of Wichita, Herchel Ray Rogers of Wichita; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents Andrew Markley and Mamie Victoria, husband Hurshul, daughter Relda Short and granddaughter Kasie Decharme.

Visitation will be held on May 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Graveside Service will be held on May 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery of Augusta. Using the 12th street entrance.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to First Southern Baptist Church of Augusta, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
