Sue Erichsen, 67, passed away on June 20, 2017.

Sue was born Irene Sue Hitz on December 7, 1949 in Great Bend, Kansas to Howard Edward and Anna Marie (Schommer) Hitz.  Sue attended schools in Great Bend graduating high school in 1967.  She later attended Great Bend Academy of Beauty when she simplified her name to Sue.  On September 6, 1969, she married David Lester  Erichsen in Great Bend.  He preceded her in death.  Sue worked as a cosmetologist for several years, until she became employed by the State of Kansas.  She enjoyed her time as volunteer for domestic violence victims, S..R.S. and most currently St. Catherine's Hospital.  Sue loved helping people and life.  She was a friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob for 26 years.

Sue is survived by her daughter Tonya Erichsen; son and daughter-in-law Troy and Sara Erichsen; brother Eddie Hitz; sisters Imogene Hitz and Lottie Marney; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Sue is also preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place.
