Douglass - Nuss Gloria "Diane" (McVey), 70, retired Sedgwick County Treasurer Office employee, passed away, Thursday, February 13, 2014, at Regent Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Wichita.

Diane was born July 5, 1943, to Harley Owen and Beulah Ann (Pruitt) McVey in Lebanon, Missouri. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1961, and attended two years of college. She married James Lee Nuss on June 5, 1965, in Bennett Springs State Park in Lebanon, Missouri.

Her survivors include her husband, Jim Nuss of Douglass, Kansas; sons, Channing Nuss of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Carson and his wife Monica of Newton, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Denny McVey.

In honoring Diane's request there will be no service. Diane attended the college of life and graduated with the highest of honors.
