Geneva Joyce Ohmart, 88, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

Geneva was born on Saturday, March 31, 1934 in Latham, Kansas to Roscoe and Goldie (Black) Grow. Geneva was untied in marriage to Fred Lee Ohmart Sr. on Tuesday, September 2, 1952 in Wellington, Kansas. They were married for 60 years until Fred's passing in 2013. Geneva worked and owned "Pup Hut" grooming for several years. Geneva enjoyed playing Yatzee, crossword puzzles, scrabble, going bowling and she loved animals, especially her dog "Widow".

Geneva is survived by her grandchildren Gabe and wife Christina Ohmart of Andover, Frank Ohmart and fiancé Dana Galloway of Columbus; great-grandchildren Victoria Jade Marie Ohmart, Montana Faith Ohmart, Sammie Lee Jo Ohmart, Hannah Galloway and Emilie Galloway; brother Gerald and wife Jackie Grow of Atlanta.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred Ohmart Sr.; son Fred Ohmart Jr.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Augusta Animal Clinic, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
