Gayle Ann Weber, 74, passed away on January 6, 2017.
Gayle was born on May 30, 1942, to Glenn Curtis and Marie (Kerkhoff) Ludlow in Wichita, KS. Gayle married Jerome "Jerry" Francis Weber on November 12, 1966, in Augusta, Kansas. Gayle attended her freshman year of college at St. Mary Of The Plains then went on to attend Sisters of St. Joseph Nursing Program and graduated with an Associates Degree in Nursing. Gayle had previously worked as a Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.
Gayle loved music, listening to Johnny Cash and playing her piano; watching old TV shows like Little House On The Prairie, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and old westerns. She loved to sew and make flower arrangements. She was very involved with her church doing sacristy and cooking dinner for the priest. Gayle loved spending time with her family and it was a tradition to get the family together every Christmas Eve at her house. She loved animals and especially her two dogs, Big Bear and Little Bear. Gayle dearly loved her grandchildren, her many great-grandchildren and enjoyed playing with her great-grandchildren.
Gayle is survived by her husband Jerry of the home; son Tim Weber and his wife Karla of Augusta, KS; daughter Tricia Yust and her husband Brady of Benton, KS; brothers Michael Ludlow and his wife Sheri, Mark Ludlow, Pat Ludlow and his wife Donna; sister Kathy Weber and her husband John; sisters-in-law Carol Siegrist and Jean Hanson; granddaughters Elissa Hobbs and her husband James, Ashley Jones and her husband Brandon, Kristina McGovern and her husband Derek; grandson Noah Yust; great-grandchildren Aminah, Brianna, Avery, Kailee, Rylie, Bradyn, Kaden, Easton, Logan and Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Lloyd Siegrist.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 9, and Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 10 both at St. Peters Catholic Church, 11010 Southwest Blvd, Wichita, KS 67215. Interment will follow the Funeral Service at St. Peters Cemetery.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers, that Memorial Contributions be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
