Frederick Allen Batdorf, 75, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Fred was born on June 20, 1943, in Berryton, KS to Doan Franklin and Laura R. (Clayton) Batdorf.  Fred served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1961 to 1966.  He later served in the U.S. Army from 1967 until 1975.  Fred was united in marriage to Patricia Sue Heiman on June 14, 1981 in Wichita, KS.  He was retired as a Security Guard from Raytheon Aircraft Company.  Fred liked to read, travel with his wife, loved history and riding his horse. He loved spending time with his family.

Fred is survived by his wife Patricia of the home; son Carl Warne (Micca) of Clearwater; daughter Belinda (Joseph) Hewitt of Pagosa Springs, CO; grandchildren, Kayl Warne, Katelynn Warne, Karli Warne, Aven Stueven, Reed Hewitt and Jorden Hewitt.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stanley Batdorf and sister Mary LeSuer.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 2, from 5-7 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.  Funeral service will be held at the Haverhill Christian Church on Wednesday, October 3, at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Haverhill Christian Church - Building Fund, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
