Ohmart, Fred Lee, Sr., 81, passed away, Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.

As per Fred's request there will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held, Monday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, using the 12th Street entrance.

Fred was born February 27, 1931, to Charles and Mary Alta (Gilliam) Ohmart in Augusta. He married Geneva Joyce Grow on September 2, 1952, in Wellington, Kansas. Fred was a retired self employed cross country pipeline welder. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Augusta, a third degree Mason of Clearwater, Kansas, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Fred is survived by his wife, Geneva of the home; two grandsons and their spouses, Gabe and Christina Ohmart of Andover and Frank and Angel Ohmart of Columbus, Kansas; a sister, Nadine Tate of Blue Springs, Missouri; three great-granddaughters, Jade, Montana and Samantha.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; son, Fred Ohmart, Jr. and three brothers Bob Ohmart, Gail and Glen Drouillard.
