Leon – Fred "Mike" Rierson, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Mike was born on Monday, August 17, 1942 in Newton, Kansas to Fredrick Carney and Lela Ruth (Pennington) Rierson.  Mike was united in marriage to Patsy Sproul on April 3, 1964 at Haverhill Christian Church.  Mike served his country in the Army National Guard. He loved his family and farming.

Mike is survived by his wife Pat Rierson; son Robert (Elaine) Rierson of Krakow, Poland; grandchildren Nathen (Abby) Rierson of Glendale, California and James Rierson of Riverside, California; brothers Gary (Barbra) Rierson of Grenola and Roger (Becky) Rierson of Leon; sister Judy (John) Minton of Augusta and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and sister Pat Stockton.

Visitation will be at Dunsford Funeral Home on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be at Haverhill Christian Church on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Latham Cemetery.

Masks are required for the Visitation and the Funeral service.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Haverhill Christian Church Building Fund, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
