Towanda – Frank Edmond Miller IV, 81, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Frank was born on Thursday, September 28, 1939 in Monte Vista, Colorado to Frank Edmond III and Vera Winifred (Rice) Miller.  Frank was united in marriage to Marilyn on May 2, 1959.  Frank served as a pastor for the Nazarene church in Udall, Anthony, Hutchinson and Augusta.  He later worked at Valley Hope from 1995-2006 as well as Union Rescue Missions from 2007 – 2010 until retiring.  Frank loved to talk about Jesus, he loved to write out his prayer in notebooks and journals.  He was a pain taker in his counseling with Valley Hope and Union Rescue Mission and he was also a prayer intercessor and watchman on the tower.  Frank loved sports, especially the Dodgers. He was a great and loving husband and father.

Frank is survived by his wife Marilyn of Towanda; son Jason and wife Sue Anna Miller of Haskell, OK; daughters Mary and husband Dale Wendler of Towanda, Doris Miller of Hutchinson, Amy and husband Chris Castor of Hutchinson; brother Gayland and wife Judy Miller of Wichita; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; son Frank Edmond Miller V; his brother Bob Smith and his sister Ruby Miller.

Family will hold a Memorial Service on Friday, February 5 ^th at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, Augusta, Kansas.
