Augusta - Frank Albert DeWitt, 69, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016.

Frank was born on November 14, 1946, to Jim A. and Dora (Maggard) DeWitt in Sterling, Kansas. Frank married Helen "Angel" Thomas on July 2, 2000, in El Dorado, Kansas. Frank had worked as a mechanic for the City of Augusta. He loved fishing, hunting and camping.

Frank is survived by his wife Angel of Augusta, KS; son DeWayne DeWitt of Lansing, KS; daughters Karen Clark and husband Alan of Augusta, KS, Ada DeWitt of Augusta, KS, Shannon Rountree (Vince Wyrick) of Chanute, KS; brother Jim DeWitt and wife Sheri of El Dorado, KS; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Sarah, daughter Mandy Campbell, brother Leroy, and grandson Caleb Kurt.

Visitation with family will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, August 7. Funeral service will be Monday August 8, at 2:00 p.m. both at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
