Evert "Dean" Thompson, 65, passed away on Tuesday May 20, 2025.

Dean was born on Wednesday, March 30, 1960 in Pinckneyville, Illinois to Herschel Wayne and Judy Marie (Kirkland) Thompson.

Dean worked as a painter in construction. He worked on many different buildings, including Churches, Cathedrals, and Banks.

Dean loved taking care of his animals and working on his farm. He loved music, specifically from the 60's and 70's and was very good at sports.

Dean is survived by his Mother, Judy; brothers, Michael (Ginger) Thompson and Steven (Carla Sue) Thompson; 3 nephews; 5 nieces; 5 great-nephews; and 3 great-nieces which he loved so very much.

Dean is preceded in death by his Father, Herschel Thompson and youngest Brother, David Thompson.

Private family graveside to be held In the quiet, peaceful Cemetery Across from Cumberland Bible Church, Douglass, KS.
