Flowers, Eva Jane (VanBibber), 75, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Eva was born November 20, 1935, in Cashion, Oklahoma to Russell and Altha Marie (Lunnon) VanBibber. Eva worked as a bookkeeper for Beech Aircraft Employees Club. She married Robert Lee Flowers on June 17, 1975, in Miami, Oklahoma.

Survivors include her husband Robert Flowers of Glencoe, Oklahoma; son David "Brad" Metz of Stillwater; daughter Leslie Wood of Augusta; step-sons Robert (Rebecca) Flowers of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Darrell (Karen) Flowers of Glencoe, Oklahoma; step-daughter Patty Flowers of Wichita; brother Howard (Judy) VanBibber of Wichita; sister Lois "Colleen" Adkins of Lynnwood, Washington; six grandchildren Charles, Angie, Chris, David, Renay and Thomas; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Altha VanBibber; step-father William "Bill" Northern; and a brother Wayne Van Bibber.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25, from 9-12:00 noon at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery using the 12th Street entrance in Augusta.

A memorial has been established in honor of Eva Flowers in care of the funeral home.
