Augusta - Ernest Clifford Metcalf, 82, passed away on December 1, 2017.

Ernest was born on October 7, 1935 in Manhattan, Kansas to Perry Henry and Wanda Louise (Darrow) Metcalf.  On June 20, 1954, Ernest married Beverly Beane in Dresdon,  Kansas.  Ernest had previously worked as a Welding Supervisor for Koch Industries.

Ernest is survived by his wife Beverly of the home; children Beth (Dave) Rau of Garden Plain, KS, Raymond (Rhonda) Metcalf of Pensacola, FL, Eldon (Christy) Metcalf of Augusta, KS, Tracy (Michael) Metcalf of Joplin, MO; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Judy Sampson and brother-in-law Larry Sampson.

There will be no services.
