Johnson, Eric Ken, 66, retired from the United States Army, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in Wichita.
Eric was born August 5, 1946, to Harley Kenneth and Fern Valeda (Sale) Johnson in Fairbanks, Alaska. Eric enjoyed horses, cowboy rodeos, fishing and golf.
He is survived by his cousin and her husband, Marsha and Richard Cooper of Hutchinson; family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Fern Johnson.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 5, at 10:30 a.m. in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel with military rites.
A memorial has been established with the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 16261, Wichita, Kansas 67216, or in care of the funeral home.
