Augusta – Ellen Rose Firebaugh, 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

Ellen was born on Thursday, April 27, 1933 in Wichita, Kansas to Adam (Lyle) and Lois (Robinson) Crist.  She had worked as a secretary for Prairie State Bank in Augusta and Cochran Mortuary in Wichita.

Ellen is survived by her sons Larry (Nancy) Firebaugh of Aurora, CO and Pat (Debbie) Firebaugh of Rose Hill; daughters Mitzi Firebaugh of Olathe and Becky Firebaugh of Midlothian, TX; brother-in-law Bob Firebaugh of Ft. Collins, CO and nephew Dean Crist of Salina; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, sons Scott and Greg, her brother J.W. Crist and her sister Mary Edith Crist.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Augusta.

The family wishes in lieu of flowers, that Memorial Contributions be made out to the First Baptist Church in Augusta, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
