Obituary

Elizabeth Moine (Mounts) Smith-Warne born on March 1, 1928 in Wichita, KS to George and Esther Mounts. She was the 2 nd of 5 children. She passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by family and friends on Friday, October 5 th , 2018 at Wesley Hospital in Wichita.

She was a stay-at-home Mom raising 2 sons, Phillip and Chuck. She learned to drive at the age of 50. She said she'd never fill her car with gasoline so whomever was with her when she needed gasoline would pump it for her! Elizabeth had a passion for life! She really enjoyed her hats. It would be rare to see her without one on. She was the manager for Plant Kingdom Garden Center and had retired 11 times. She truly enjoyed helping people with all their gardening needs. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, traveling, gardening and flowers, feeding birds, going to antique stores and playing card games.

Elizabeth was a generous and kind gal. She was special to all who knew her. Each one of us knew her in a different way whether it was wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, grandma, "GG", neighbor, co-worker or friend. We each have special memories we share in that relationship.

She is survived by her family who will greatly miss her. She left a legacy to us to live life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband Paul Warne Sr.; sons Phillip Smith and wife Helen, Chuck Smith and wife Johnna; three grandsons Shelby, Jacob, Michael and their wives; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 step-children Susie, Beverly, Paul Jr., Stephanie and Phillip; 9 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and with a special mention Maggie Nelson and Cindy Cole and her family.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, sister Rebecca Mounts and her brother Mike Mounts.
