Edith (Nadvornik) Rowland, 93, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014.
Edith was born March 25, 1921, to Frank and Ann (Verona) Nadvornik in Dickinson, North Dakota. She was united in marriage to Harvey Rowland on June 4, 1939 in Scio, Oregon. Edith and her husband cleaned the Andover State Bank and she enjoyed painting ceramics and playing the piano as a hobby as well as playing for the Victoria Falls Chapel.
Her survivors include her brother, Victor and wife Patricia Nadvornik of Surprise, Arizona; nephews, Mark and wife Colleen Nadvornik of Los Gatos, California: Ray Kastle of Salem, Oregon: Victor Nadvornik of Hawaii; nieces, Sue Province and husband Tom of Henderson, Nevada: Krisiann Nadvornik of New York, New York.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 4 sisters.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 17, at 10:00 a.m. at the Andover Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the Victoria Falls Nursing Home in care of the funeral home.
